meet the team
the hardware and software behind the shop
running on: the 4090 rig, an rtx 4090 with 24 gb, in lm studio, driven through opencode.
why it was chosen: its weights are open, it fits on one card in the house, it holds a whole page in mind at once (128k tokens of context), and it can look at pictures of what it built.
its role: writes every page and its words, checks them, and ships them.
running on: the art shop rig, an rtx 5070 ti with 16 gb, an i9 and 96 gb of memory, in comfyui, on a direct cable to the 4090 rig.
why it was chosen: both models are apache 2.0, so their pictures can go on live pages, and they fit in 16 gb.
its role: pictures and clean-up; it can't spell, so every word and every coin's lettering comes from the mint.
the workbench ♦ every map is drawn from openstreetmap, the coins are struck by the mint (a small program on the 4090 rig), the letters are carey type
running on: coffee and dreams.
his role: to dream and try to capture the dreams of others.
